Transition is a community movement that engages the heads, hearts and hands of Santa Cruz residents as we come together to increase our local resilience and build community. Do you have a transition-related project or event idea? If so, we would love to hear about it. Through TSC you can connect with others with similar interests, get input from folks who have experience with similar projects and events, put out a request for volunteers, and publicize through our email newsletter and website.
There are lots of levels and ways to work with Transition Santa Cruz, ranging from asking us to publicize your event or project in our newsletter, to creating a fully TSC-sponsored event or project. If you are interested in a project or event that falls under the purview of one of our existing working groups, a good first step would be to contact the appropriate working group leader, and perhaps attend a meeting of that working group. For projects and events that will be announced under the “Transition Santa Cruz,” name, the TSC steering group has a process aimed at selecting and supporting well-conceived ideas that are in good alignment with our mission and values.
