A Transition Santa Cruz "Project Group" is any group, short-term or long, working on a local resilience-building project under the banner of Transition Santa Cruz.
Past projects have included:
- a fundraiser for the Beach Flats Community Center
- a food garden installation party at Sycamore Commons housing complex
- a series of public meetings on housing and land use
- a collective effort to improve the City of Santa Cruz' Climate Action Plan
- a "Food Working Group" that met for over two years and launched initiatives such as Urban Garden Share
- a "Sustainable Water Working Group" that supported the creation of our Towards a Sustainable Water Plan draft
- and many more.
